At this time, Babble with Brianna is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. A superbill can be provided for those with other insurance carriers in order to be reimbursed for speech therapy sessions and/or evaluations.
Referrals
Contact me if you need help setting up an evaluation with Early Intervention or referrals to other disciplines (PT, OT, DT).

What if I am unsure if my child needs therapy services or an evaluation?
If you are unsure, give us a call! We’d be happy to discuss your concerns and our services to see if they would be beneficial for your child.

What areas do speech therapists treat in children?
Speech therapists treat a wide variety of areas such as expressive language, receptive language, speech sound production, fluency, picky eaters, and social communication.

How much of my child's speech should I (and others) be able to understand at this age?
Typically, a child should be 100% intelligible to unfamiliar listeners by age 4. For younger children, unfamiliar listeners should be able to understand roughly 25% age 1, 50% by age 2, and 75% by age 3.

What ages do you work with?
Babble with Brianna works with the pediatric population, so typically kids from 0-18. However, the majority of kids are in the early intervention program which is geared towards children 0-3 years old.

Babble with Brianna is located in Geneva, IL and works with kids in Geneva, St. Charles, Batavia, South Elgin, West Chicago, North Aurora, and the surrounding areas.

What is language therapy?
Language therapy is part of speech therapy. Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) assess and work on receptive language (what a child understands) and expressive language (how a child communicates his or her wants and needs).
